SELLIT9 lets you trade in items for gift card at Techbytes. Your gift card never expires and stays tied to the store and to your email address.
Your gift card is a multi-use code that can be used across multiple purchases.
When you chose to get your SELLIT9 Trade gift card right away, a temporary hold is placed on your credit card for the value of your trade-in until your device is received and inspected.
Once your item is verified, the hold is released. If your device does not match the condition you inputted, a revised offer will be shared and you will have the option to have the difference will be charged to your card and the remainder released (or have your item shipped back to you at no charge and the whole value charged). If it matches or exceeds the quoted value, the hold is removed and your trade-in is finalized.
You have two options:
mail in your item with a free, trackable shipping label
if you’re in the GTA (depending on location) we have drop off locations and may be be able someone to your door to pick up the item
Either way, you’ll be able to track your item at every step. Once an item arrives at our inspection facility we aim to finalize your trade-in value within 2 business days.
At SELLIT9, we strive for transparency and fairness in every transaction. The price you get at check-out is based on item condition and the current market value for pre-owned items.
Every item gets inspected by an expert. If they reassess its condition and price, we’ll explain why and offer a new price. If you don’t like the adjusted price, we’ll return your item for free.
The items we currently accept are listed in the process. We’re constantly updating the items we accept, and you are welcome to request a quote for an item not accepted by clicking the “Looking to trade something else?” button at the bottom of any category
We only accept items in re-sellable condition, with parts from the original manufacturer, and no carrier locks or blacklists.
SELLIT9 Trade won’t charge you any fees . We cover the cost of collecting and assessing your items.
You go through the normal store refund process for your new purchase. SELLIT9 and the merchant coordinate to make sure that you still get the full value of your trade-in.

- Shipping is free across Canada exept for Northwest Territories and Nunavut.
- No duties and customs for items purchased within Canada.
- Yes, tracking number is provided.
- Signature is required at the time of delivery to ensure safe delivery.
- Each order is carefully packaged to ensure a safe sending.
- If a PC arrives damaged or there is an issue with the PC, the customer must notify Techbytes Inc. in writing and provide photos of any damage to the outer packaging and the product, shortage, or other discrepancy, or error in parts within three business days after receipt of the shipment. Otherwise, the customer is deemed to have accepted the Products.
- Orders are shipped via Canada Post Expedited Parcel with signature, estimate shipping time is 2-5 business days for all provinces except Northwest Territories and Nunavut.
- Orders are fulfilled within 1-3 business days of order placement.
- Currenty, we do not offer shipping to outside of Canada. Stay tuned for more!
Returns and Exchanges
- Our return policy allows for return or exchanges within 7 days of purchase.
- After making a request for return, you will receive an email with the prepaid shipping label.
- The PC must be in the same condition as it was when it was shipped, without any physical damages.
- The PC must be returned with all interior and exterior packing foam, and boxes, along with all cables and peripherals.
- Techbytes Inc. will not assume any shipping damage for returned PCs.
- Customer may cancel their order at any time before the order is fulfilled, a full refund will be granted within 2 to 7 business days.
- The returned PC must be in good standing with no evidence of tampering and alterations in settings.
